a waist belt without the two saber hanger slides and straps or as a saber belt with the two saber
hanger slides and straps. Slides or Saber Hangers are now available.
<p> We also offer a belt kit for leatherworkers. It contains the Buckle, Adjusting
Hook and 2 Brass Rivets. You supply the leather.</p>

the M1873 Colt. It is nearly identical to the American Civil War Cap Box, except with US in oval embossed on the flap
and no sheep's wool lining. Made of Black leather with two belt loops on the back.
The originally had a wood block to hold the cartridges, but most troopers
took them out so the cartridge box would hold a few more cartridges. We DO
NOT offer the wood block.</p>

This is the tan canvas Mills cartridge belt of the Indian Wars. It holds 50 - 45/70
cartridges. The buckle is a stamped brass U.S. Mills buckle. The belt loops on our reproduction are
sewn on, not woven into belt as the originals were. These belts are "One Size Fits All",
They have a maximum waist size of 50" to possibly 54" (over 50" will require sewing
the ends to keep them from coming loose). For waist under 34" you will need to remove some
loops. The total length of the belt is about 57 to 58".
<p> This belt is also offered as a complete belt with 1 - <b>"C" Clasp
for a buckle</b>, 2 Flat C's and the brass end caps with C's (L21A Version). This belt will fit up
to a MAXIMUM waist size of 42" or possibly 43" (the maximum usable length of the belt is
45" to 46"). Total length of the belt is about 50". This is the same belt as the 30/40
Krag belt, except for having the 45/70 belt loops.</p>
<p> <b>NOTE:</b> If you want the Mills Buckle for this version of the belt, it will
need to be ordered separately, as it DOES NOT come with this belt.</p>

These are not high quality bugles. The are imported and functional, but not

loop bugle used by the U.S. Infantry during the American Civil War. It is 17" long,
including the mouthpiece.</p>
<p> <b>Cavalry Bugle - U.S. Civil War:</b> This is a two
loop bugle used by the U.S. Cavalry during the American Civil War. It is 11.5" long,
including the mouthpiece.</p>
<p> <b>Bugle - C.S. Civil War:</b> This is a single loop
bugle used by the Confederacy during the American Civil War. It is 11.25" long,

Our<strong> reproduction items</strong> are more than just looks-like, they are authentic
replicas made as closely as possible to the original item. They are carefully
manufactured using materials that match as closely as possible to the original items. We
use patterns made from original items; patterns that are modified to be historical not
only in look, but construction; or patterns that we have made from drawings, pictures or
paintings. Many of our items have been purchased by museums (well known and not so well
known) for display and/or for use by docents and historical interpreters.
<p> <b>Clothing and Uniforms</b> Most of our men's replica clothing and uniforms are made for us by the
Quartermaster Shop, although some items are manufactured by us or elsewhere. The ladies and
childrens attire is mostly made by us. Almost any style of clothing that was worn in the
United States during the 19th Century (1800s) (starting from the 1820's on, including Victorian,
Edwardian, American Civil War, Indian Wars. Old West and Spanish American War (Span-Am))
is available.</p>
<p> <b>Other Items (accessories, accouterments, camp equipment, leathergoods, tents, tinware,
etc.)</b> are mostly purchased from other makers, although some are made by us. In many cases
we have mutiple suppliers of items, to assure the we can always have them available.</p>
