Ladies Bloomers / Pantalets / Pantaloons / Split Drawers |

Not to be confused by Amelia Bloomer, I
think the name was a 21st century phrase. In the 1800s they were called drawers
an later as pantalets. Drawers/ bloomers were
worn crotch less for a lack of words, for easier bathroom use. That way you wouldn't have to pull your
drawers down, making it easier to have your hands free for the rest of your clothing.
Some are made with a "V" shape or straight cut waist
band. The legs in front are split from the waist band in front to the back.
Both legs are sewn to the waist band. There is one row of lace at the bottom of the legs
along a couple of rows of tucks for growth or shrinkage.
Drawers are long (ankle length) up till 1863 when the new
fashion came into play, especially for the Union states. Then from 1863 on was what
is called the short drawers / bloomers, (slightly below the knee cap).
Materials available are white cotton, cotton blend and white
on white stripe that we have available now of light weight cotton.

Available in dress sizes 10 to 20, can
possibly adjust for some other sizes, e-mail on this. When ordering you need to state whether
you want short or long drawers.
Measurements needed:
- Waist: Around the natural waist (Item 14 from measurement chart).
- Hips: Around fullest part (Item 18 from measurement chart).
- Length: (not on measurement chart)
- Short Bloomers: from waist over the side of hip, then down to 2" below the knee cap
- Long Bloomers: from waist over the side of hip, then down to the ankle bone
Custom made item, please allow
4 - 8 weeks for
delivery. Custom Clothing and Uniforms are not returnable. Starting
price is for cotton material and style shown, other materials, modifications,
additional trim or other changes will affect the price. Rush orders MAY be available for an
additional price, call us about this. A rush order reduces the manufacturing time but DOES NOT include
faster shipping, for faster shipping use the shipping option on the "View Cart" page.

items take 9 to 11 weeks for delivery; UNLESS the item has a delivery time listed, then that is the delivery time.
Most other clothing (WHITE Cotton Shirts, Cravats, Suspenders, Felt Hats, etc.) take 2 - 4 weeks for delivery.
