    Style B: This is a Black Leather Belt with Canvas cartridge loops. This belt typically has the M1874 US Buckle (as shown).

    Style C: This is the same belt as Style A, but also has the u-shaped 45 long colt shell holder on the bottom left side.

     Style A & B can be purchase as Belt Only or with either the M1851 Eagle Buckle or the M1874 US Buckle. Style C can be purchased with either buckle, but is not available with no buckle.

    This belt is also offered as a complete belt with 1 - "C" Clasp for a buckle, 2 Flat C's and the brass end caps with C's (L21A Version). This belt will fit up to a MAXIMUM waist size of 42" or possibly 43" (the maximum usable length of the belt is 45" to 46"). Total length of the belt is about 50". This is the same belt as the 30/40 Krag belt, except for having the 45/70 belt loops.

    NOTE: If you want the Mills Buckle for this version of the belt, it will need to be ordered separately, as it DOES NOT come with this belt.

    The Black Leather version is the U.S. Military version, although civilians may have also used it.

    The Natural/Russet Leather version is Civilians Use ONLY.

Mills Belt for the 45/70

   This is the same belt as the tan canvas Mills cartridge belt of the Indian Wars, except in blue canvas (L20). It holds 50 - 45/70 cartridges. The buckle used on this belt is a stamped brass U.S. Mills buckle. The belt loops on our reproduction are sewn on, not woven into belt as the originals were. These belts are "One Size Fits All"., They have a maximum waist size of 50" to possibly 54" (over 50" will require sewing the ends to keep them from coming loose). For waist under 34" you will need to remove some loops. The total length of the belt is about 57 to 58". You can purchase the Belt Only, Belt with Buckle or Belt with Buckle and 2 "C" Clasps (as shown).

Mills Belt in 30/40 Krag

Mills Belt for the 30/40 Krag

   This is the Mills cartridge belt of the Spanish American War for the 30/40 Krag. It has 50 Double Loops that hold 100 cartridges and comes in either Tan / Khaki (L55) or Blue (L54). It comes complete with 1 "C" clasp for a buckle and 2 flat loops to hold the ends. The belt loops on our reproduction are sewn on, not woven into belt as the originals were. These belts are "One Size Fits All". They have a maximum usable length of 46", which will fit up to about a 42" to 44" waist (depending on what you are wearing). For waist under 34" you may need to remove some loops. NOTE: If you want the Mills Buckle for this belt, it will need to be ordered separately, as it DOES NOT come with this belt.
