The musician's dress coat is shown below on the right. This one being that of a Chief Trumpeter. 1872 Light Artillery - Red Trim.
Chevrons are not included, but are available for an additional charge. Additional service stripes can be added, but must be added separately. Specify the order of the service stripes in the "Comments" field of the address page. |

The M1884 Gold Bouillon dress coat chevrons are the same pattern as the M1872 chevrons, except they are made with Gold Bouillon. In 1898 the Army authorized cotton chevrons to be used on the khaki uniform. This was so that the coat and chevrons would shrink at the same rate. These cotton chevrons are ONLY for use on the khaki coats. Custom made item, please allow 8 - 10 weeks for delivery. Custom orders are not returnable.
