Wooden bucket with rope handle (1800s/19th Century)

Wooden Bucket

This is a 2 gallon wooden bucket, with 2 wooden bands, rope handle and the bottom is paraffin coated. It is 11-1/2 inches high and 11 inches wide. This is a functional wood bucket that will work as well as they did when they were used originally. They do need proper care and the wood can not be allowed dry out, or they will leak. They will dry out if they are unused for an extended period of time. Shipping weight is 4 pounds.

Wooden bucket with rope handle (1800s/19th Century)

Lidded Firkin (Covered Bucket)

Like out wooden bucket above, thes firkin is hand crafted. The rope handle is threaded through 2 oak hangers and the round lid has an additional rope handle. Parafin lined so it's great for liquids and dry goods. The advantage of having the lid is it keeps dirt and other things out, keeping the contents cleaner. This is a functional wood bucket that will work as well as they did when they were used originally. They do need proper care and the wood can not be allowed dry out, or they will leak. 10-1/2 inch diameter base high and 9-1/2 inch high. Shipping weight is 5 pounds.
